Abstract

This review of the literature examines the several ways that technology is impacting Nigerian society and the workplace. Technology is advancing so quickly that its influence on several facets of employment and society dynamics are becoming more and more obvious. This paper examines how Nigerian labour practices, job trends, socioeconomic structures, and cultural standards have changed as a result of technology advancements. It aims to offer insights into the potential and difficulties presented by technology adoption in Nigerian society by synthesising the results of previous studies. It also makes recommendations for future research to help comprehend and resolve the effects of technology on Nigerian society and the workplace. The objective of this review is to offer a thorough knowledge of how technology is influencing work practices, social dynamics, and the general fabric of Nigerian society through an analysis of empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, and expert viewpoints.
