Abstract

This study examines the effect of profitability on the dividend payout of listed non-financial firms in Nigeria from 2012 to 2021. The population of the study consists of all the listed non-finance firms with representation from the following sectors: Agriculture, Consumer goods, industrial goods, oil and gas, healthcare, services, natural resources, technology, and conglomerate making a total of 108 non-finance firms.
