Abstract

Criminal mobility studies focus on criminals' characteristics and modes of movement within, beyond, and between their homes and crime scenes. This article focuses on criminals' habitual behaviour, target selection, routine activities, mobility patterns, and the time-space interplay between criminals and victims. This is to understand how criminals' journey-to-crime modes and distances are shaped by their individual-level characteristics and those of their home and target communities.
