Résumé

This study is an assessment of the unidimensionality of the 2021 basic science test of the Delta State Basic Education Certificate Examination. In the study, three research questions were raised and answered. A triangulation research design was adopted for the study. 140,959 JSS III students in all the 475 public secondary schools in Delta State constituted the population of this study.
