Résumé
The study examined how remote work affects cross-cultural team dynamics in Rivers State's oil and gas firms, with a sample size of 346 drawn from a population of 3,524 employees using simple random sampling. Data was collected through structured questionnaires, and Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was employed to analyze the relationship between remote work dimensions (work environment and digital skills) and cross-cultural team dynamics. The findings indicated a significant positive relationship between remote work factors and team dynamics. The study concludes that investing in supportive work environments, enhancing digital skills, and promoting collaborative projects are crucial for improving cross-cultural team dynamics in these firms. The study recommends investing in a supportive work environment and promoting collaborative digital projects to strengthen team cohesion and productivity.
