Abstract

Conservationism and Preservationism are two opposing theories in environmental philosophical ethics. The adoption of each of these theories has its moral implication. John Passmore has different views of these two philosophical thoughts. Passmore being anthropocentric in his approach to environmental ethics would naturally incline to conservationism.
