Abstract

The study investigated the effects of collaborative instructional strategy, sex and location on academic performance of upper basic social studies students in Delta State. The study was guided with four research questions and four hypotheses which were answered and tested respectively. The research adopted a quasi-experimental, 2x2 x2 factorial design. 49,796 JSS II (Upper Basic 2) students from the 467 Delta State Public Secondary Schools that are enrolled in the 2021/2022 academic year make up the study's overall population.
