Abstract
This study investigates the chemical and physical properties of sugarcane bagasse ash (SCBA) obtained from Dabai and Samunaka, and their influence on the fresh concrete characteristics and durability-related aspects of concrete. The chemical composition, physical properties of SCBA from both sources were analyzed. Fresh concrete mixes incorporating these SCBAs were evaluated. Furthermore, initial water absorption characteristics were assessed to provide insights into potential durability. The findings reveal differences in the inherent properties of SCBA from the two locations, which subsequently affect the fresh concrete behavior and early-stage water absorption.
